Ogimachisanjo Saneoki (正親町三条実興)

Saneoki OGIMACHISANJO (1457 - February 10, 1481) was a Kugyo (top court official) during the Muromachi period. He was a retainer of the Imperial Court serving two generations: Emperor Gohanazono (102nd) and Emperor Gotsuchimikado (103rd), and his highest official court rank was Shoshiinojo (Senior Forth Rank, Upper Grade) Sangi (councilor). His father was Dainagon (chief councilor of state) Kinharu OGIMACHISANJO. His younger brother was Naidaijin (Minister of the Interior) Sanemochi OGIMACHISANJO.

He was ennobled in 1458, and then he was successively promoted to jiju (chamberlain), Ukone no Gon no shosho (Provisional Minor Captain of the Right Division of Inner Palace Guards), Shimotsuke no Gon no suke (Provisional Assistant Governor of Shimotsuke Province), Ukone no chujo (Middle Captain of the Right Division of Inner Palace Guards), and Kurodo no to (Head Chamberlain), and finally became Sangi in 1480 to rank with Kugyo, but died in the following year. Died at the age of 25.
